We happened upon the Grand Hotel in Nancy due to a member of our group needing to go to the hospital. I cannot say enough about how wonderful and helpful the staff was! They helped in communicating with the hospital and scheduling a emergency flight back to the U.S.

We visited the Grand Hotel over 31 years ago and still remember the charm, elegance and old world beauty of the property. The staff was beyond courtly and appeared to treat every guest as royalty. My children were especially enthralled by the stories (legends) of Marie Antoinette, the town and the building.

Well what can one say!! What a fabulous position . the square and views are excellent. The hotel may have been classed as Grand some time ago!!! Rooms clean ,however, we booked the Royal Apartment for 250 euro per night ,for a special occasion very disappointing, slightly scruffy , no mini bar ,lounge area a desk and 2 small chairs and a chest of draws,l No sofa!!!how disappointing. We stayed last night at a 4* Hotel The Atlantic in Wiereux . Very friendly staff,lovely room ,amazing food and the A la cart restraunt and service also very good ,we would certainly recommended this hotel . However lots of lovely restraunt,s around the square in Nancy,we had a lovely supper in Restraunt Foy great staff!! Excellent wine and service. So we shall look forward to The Hotel Atlantic on our return journey! On Sunday!!!,

All that aside, I would still give it a 5 star rating. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful town. Nancy, the town, was an unexpected surprise. I am not one to visit the same location twice but this is the first, I would gladly return!

Une belle découverte culinaire
Nous n’avions jamais testé ce restaurant car la carte de l’ancienne direction ne nous inspirait pas. Mais ça c’est de l’histoire ancienne ! Nous avons donc testé pour la première fois cette adresse et nous avons été ravis par la qualité de nos plats (carpaccio de St Jacques à la truffe blanche, et carré d’agneau EXCELLENT !). Le serveur a été très agréable et nous avons passé un très bon moment. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
